This interview isn’t the only superstar audio up this week. James and Bull Buchanan got together this week for an all new 64 minute edition of the Bullpen. Buchanan talked about a ton of topics including the state of the business and stories behind the Truth Commission’s original direction.

James Guttman then brings up the next uncut shoot interview on ClubWWI.com with a former WWE star. Scheduled to go online today, it may even be up by the time you read this. Check WorldWrestlingInsanity.com throughout the day for the announcement.

With that, we got to clips from Mike “Simon Dean” Bucci

James Guttman welcomes Mike Bucci to the site. Mike says that it took some time to get on the show but thanks to Facebook, he and James were able to link up for a shoot. Bucci explains that he doesn’t do many of these. He might do more, but right now he’s just doing ones that pique his interest and are conducted by “guys who are reputable and cool.” He has ready some of Guttman’s stuff in the past and thinks it’s pretty entertaining. So he figured, “What the hell. Let’s do it.”

James thanks Mike and says that he is indeed both cool and reputable. Sometimes one or the other, depending on who he’s talking to at the time. He then gives Mike a chance to speak out on what he’s currently doing now.

Bucci explains that for the past five years, he’s done refinancing and writing of home loans. Although he was working about 100 hours a week with WWE, he managed to do it part time. When his friend got his house foreclosed on, it put a face on the housing problem for him. Because of that, Mike wanted to help. After thinking for a while, he realized that there might be many wrestling fans in the same position – or know someone in a tight mortgage setup. The country, waiting on the presidential election, isn’t going to really shift the economy either way until then.

Mike feels that maybe if a fan needs help and the thought of having someone they are familiar with help them gives them the push to work out of their problems, all the better. He gives contact including his email:

In progress, Mike says that he was the guy to put over debuting talent on Smackdown. James points to Bobby Lashley as one of the first names that comes to mind. Bucci explains that he helped train Bobby, loves the guy, and has a ton of respect for him. One day they went to TV and Vince McMahon asked how Lashley did on his initial house shows. Dean Malenko said he worked with Bucci and McMahon decided to put them in a dark match. As the day went on, Vince asked Mike if he’d rather wrestle him on Velocity. He agreed.

“Then, like an hour later, he comes up to me and says, ‘You know what? He’s wrestling you. I know it’ll be bulletproof. I’m putting you guys on Smackdown tonight. I said, ‘Great!’”

Bucci says that Bob had just had a baby. He knew that if the two of them had a great match, the office would give him the “blessing” to move back home before he goes on the road. So before the match, Simon told him to sit back and follow him.

“Just follow me along. Let me do my sh*t. I’ll get you over. I guarantee that within a couple of weeks, you’ll be back home. At the end of the night, they were all praising it. It was fantastic. The whole bit. They all loved it and Johnny told Bobby the next week he could go back home. The next week I went back to Smackdown and Vince said, ‘You know. I loved what you did with him last week. You made him look like a million bucks. It was a fantastic match and now I want to put it on pay-per-view.”

Aside from Mike Bucci over 130 star interviews are available on ClubWWI.com for less than five dollars a month.
