Fedor Emelianenko to feature on re-scheduled Affliction event
Â
It now appears WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko will be featured on the re-scheduled “Affliction: Day of Reckoning.”
Â
The re-scheduled event is rumoured to be held at the site of the organization’s debut – the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. That event drew nearly 15,000 spectators for a live gate of $2.1million.
Â
According to company officials, “Affliction: Banned” also did more than 100,000 pay-per-view buys.
Â
However, as reported on Wednesday, poor ticket sales are being blamed for the re-schedule and therefore, the organisers have decided to wait until January and the return of Fedor for their second PPV.
