Jim Ross will be calling this coming Tuesday night’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi due to Todd Grisham being unable to make tonight’s TV tapings in Columbus, OH due to a family tragedy.

On his website, Ross wrote: “Due to a family tragedy, I will sit in for Todd Grisham this week on the ECW broadcast to be taped Sunday night in Columbus, Ohio. I am looking forward to working w/ Matt Striker in Todd’s absence. Our prayers are with Todd and his family.

“Yours truly will also handle my regular duties on Smackdown with the world’s angriest announcer and my partner Tazz.”

WWE tape Smackdown and ECW tonight rather than on Tuesday night as the rosters are heading off for several non-televised dates in Europe. We’ll have spoilers on the front page of the site early on Monday.
