Mick Foley discusses his TNA PPV debut

Thursday October 16, 2008 BY Phil Lowe

Ahead of his “farewell” tonight on Spike TV, Mick Foley has said there are “about ten guys” he can see himself working with in TNA.

In an interview with The Sun, Foley discussed last Sunday’s Bound for Glory PPV and said of his first TNA PPV experience: “It’s a very different atmosphere to what the WWE was.

“I was treated really well there, but I did sometimes think there was some unnecessary psychological trauma that some of the younger WWE stars went through as far as knowing their place and having a grasp on locker room etiquette.

“That was the number one thing I did not enjoy. There did seem to be a bit of a bullying atmosphere towards the younger guys.

“In TNA there is a sense we are the underdogs and that everyone out there is making a choice to come here.”

Foley also put over the insane fire bump Abyss took during the Monster’s Ball match, going so far as to say it topped a similar spot that he and Edge did at WrestleMania 22.
