UFC 90 weigh-in results – Burkman misses weight

Josh Burkman came in overweight at Friday’s UFC 90 weigh-ins, weighing in at 173 pounds for his welterweight fight with Pete Sell.

Burkman was to get an hour to try to lose two pounds and get down to the 171-pound limit.

If Burkman is unable to make weight, there is a chance the fight will not go ahead. At time of writing it remained unclear whether he would drop the two pounds required.

All other fighters made weight, including Thiago Alves, who was the subject of speculation after coming in three pounds overweight for his last fight against Matt Hughes at UFC 85.

Official weigh-in results for UFC 90, which takes place on tomorrow night at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois as follows:
