Luiz Cane, Marcus Davis, Chris Lytle and Paul Taylor each pocketed $40,000 bonuses for their performances at UFC 89 last night.

The bonuses were down from the $60,000 issued at UFC 88 and also down from the $50,000 last time UFC were in the UK at UFC 85.

Luiz Cane’s impressive second-round stoppage win over contender Rameau Sokoudjou, his second UFC victory in a row, earned the Brazilian the “Knockout of the Night,” while former IFL fighter Jim Miller took the “Submission of the Night” award in his UFC debut for his third-round submission victory over David Baron.

Chris Lytle and Paul Taylor said they would look to take home the “Fight of the Night” award before their bout ever started and after a great fight pocketed the award they promised.
