Brock Lesnar: All I’m Thinking About is Ramming My Size XXXXL Gloves Into Randy Couture’s Mouth

Wednesday November 5, 2008 BY Martin Smith

Brock Lesnar has already started the war of words against current UFC Heavyweight champion Randy Couture by insisting that he’s ready to go all out for the belt during their fight later this month.

In an interview with The Sun, Lesnar said: “There are guys I admire as athletes and Randy Couture is one of them. He’s a legend in MMA and it is an honour to get to fight him so early in my career.

“It’s a huge fight, the biggest fight of the year, period. But all I am thinking about is November 15 and ramming my size XXXXL gloves into his mouth.”

Lesnar is 1-1 in his UFC career and is already looking forward to only his fourth ever MMA fight. Despite losing to former heavyweight champion Frank Mir in his UFC debut at UFC 81, the former WWE Champion bounced back in style with a dominant unanimous decision victory over Heath Herring at UFC 87 in August.

“When I joined the UFC, Dana White told me I would be fighting the very best fighters in the world, that I would get no tomato cans,” he added. “That’s why I wanted in – I don’t want to fight bums. I will leave that deal to other sports.”
