- It’ll be interesting to see how this show comes across on TV actually as there’s a cage hanging above the ring. The dark match advertised was a Big Show vs. Undertaker cage match.
- Edge squashes Kung Fu Naki.
- Vickie Guerrero announces that Jeff Hardy will team with Triple H tonight in a tag team gauntlet match. Oh, and at Armageddon, its Triple H defending his WWE title against Jeff Hardy and Edge in a triple threat match.
- Maria beat Michelle McCool. Afterwards, the other divas congratulate Maria on her win backstage. McCool interrupts and kicks Maria.
- Big Show promo as a steel cage match is announced. Perhaps it is on TV after all?
- MVP comes to the ring for a promo. He complains about his pyro and entrance tunnel being taken away and says he’ll end his losing streak. Hurricane Helms’ music plays and we have our next match.
- The returning Hurricane Helms beat MVP with a Shining Wizard. Real good reaction for Helms.
- Triple H and Jeff Hardy running the gauntlet was next. First they beat Hawkins and Ryder with both hitting their finishers on Ryder. The Miz and Morrison were out next. During this, Hardy and Triple H ended up brawling leaving to Miz and Morrison winning by countout.
- Backstage, Hardy interrupted an Edge promo. Edge said it was Triple H who knocked Hardy out on Sunday morning. Triple H then attacked Hardy.
- Matt Hardy beat Chavo Guerrero via DQ after Vladimir Kozlov attacked Hardy. Referees helped him to the back.
- Christmas has come to Smackdown, with Santa Claus, aka The Great Khali. Ranjin was dressed as an elf as we got the kiss cam segment.
- The Undertaker beat Big Show in a steel cage match. This was real good and so much better than their Survivor Series outing. Undertaker won with the Devil’s Triangle as Show tapped out to close the show.
