Ahead of iFight365.com’s live UFC 91 coverage, Martin Smith looks over tonight’s massive PPV and gives us his verdict on the winners and losers of what should be a great night of MMA.

Heavyweight Championship Match: Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Couture

Like I said in my previous report, this is one hell of a fight. One for the ages and a great deal riding on the outcome. I have gone for Lesnar by TKO in round three.

Kenny Florian vs. Joe StevensonA very close fight. I would expect this to be up their with the fight of the night. I’ve gone for Florian by decision. Both guys are excellent on the ground.

 

Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Josh Hendricks

Josh Hendricks is making his debut here in the UFC but I can’t see him defeating Gonzaga. I’ve gone for Gonzaga by TKO in round two.

Nate Quarry vs. Demian Maia

Maia is fantastic on the ground and I can see him winning this one also. Quarry might been techinically sound on the mat, but I can see him being submitted. Maia by submission in round two.

Dustin Hazelett vs. Tamdan McCrory

I’ve gone for Hazelett by submission. McCrory is the heavy underdog in this fight.

Matt Brown vs. Ryan Thomas

Thomas is great with his submissions and Brown has lost a huge number of fights by tapping out. Should be a good fight but I’ve gone for Thomas by submission in round one.

Alvin Robinson vs. Mark Bocek

I always find Bocek a really boring fighter. The majority of Robinson’s victories are by submission so I can see him winning by submission here in round one.

Aaron Riley vs. Jorge Gurgel

Should be a very close fight. It’s a flip of the coin choice here. I’ve gone for Gurgel by judges decision.

Jeremy Stephens vs. Rafael dos Anjos

Dos Anjos is very good on the mat and Stephens has lost a number of fights by submission. Common sense gives me dos Anjos the victory by submission in round two.
