As we reported earlier today, WWE.com this morning reported that Jeff Hardy was found unconscious in a stairwell at his hotel in Boston ahead of tonight’s Survivor Series PPV and was been rushed to a nearby hospital.

The brief announcement noted that due to privacy issues, WWE is not releasing the name of the hospital.

Hardy was scheduled to face Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov for the WWE title at tonight’s PPV.

In an update on the situation, from speaking to a couple of people in the company a short while ago, the impression I got was that Hardy was not hospitalised last night and that WWE, for some reason, decided to alter the storyline ahead of tonight’s show.

We’ll have more on this later today ahead of our live coverage of the show, but at time of writing it appears that last night’s incident was not legitimate.Keep an eye on the front page of the site for the latest from Boston and any further updates we have on the situation.
