WWE contract updates on Christian, Kim, Hardy and more

Wednesday November 26, 2008 BY Phil Lowe

In an update on the contracts of several wrestlers, Dustin Rhodes’ appearance on Raw this past Monday night was not a one-off and as Goldust, Rhodes is back with the company after signing a contract at some point prior to the Survivor Series PPV.

While we have no word on the length of the deal, it is a “real” WWE contract as opposed to some kind of Legends deal.

At time of writing, Christian is yet to sign with WWE although its expected he will do so. Unless TNA have kept a new deal quiet (and it would be as much of a secret as when the company signed Kurt Angle), everybody expects him to be returning for another run with WWE. If you’ve not yet read our newest Roundtable piece, which is on the topic of whether Christian should re-sign with TNA or jump over to the WWE, you can do so by clicking here.

As of late last week, the renewed interest in Tomko had stepped up. According to a couple of people I spoke to, the feeling is that he will be returning to the company shortly.

Gail Kim, who signed a WWE deal earlier this month, is expected to debut on TV shortly for what will be her second run with the company.

Matt Hardy recently signed a new deal with the company.
