The UFC will air UFC 91: Couture vs. Lesnar on Spike TV in the New Year.

The show will go head-to-head with Affliction’s ‘Day of Reckoning’ PPV on January 24, which features Fedor Emelianenko vs. Andrei Arlovski.

Its a move by Dana White obviously designed to give people the option: shell out money to watch a PPV which has a very ’sellable’ main event, or watch a great UFC show on free TV.

As reported on the site yesterday, Tito Ortiz will debut at the Affliction show as an announcer.
