WWE and TNA taping tonight and Tuesday – details
WWE Monday Night Raw takes place tonight in Pittsburgh, PA with no matches advertised at time of writing. We’ll have an update later today if WWE announces any matches for the show.
John Cena vs. Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight title is being advertised locally in what is likely going to be a dark match.
You’d have to assume given the amount of time they gave it during last night’s Armageddon PPV that there’s something fairly major going to happen with Shawn Michaels and JBL, otherwise last night’s long promo will have been a total waste.
On that promo, judging from feedback we’ve had, reaction is split as to what people are thinking about it. For me, however, right now I just can’t buy into the fact that WWE’s longest serving main eventer (with the exception of The Undertaker) has spent all his money and needs to work for JBL while all the other main event guys aren’t in the same position. Hopefully they can turn things around as right now that angle is doing nothing for me.
As always, we’ll have a full Raw recap up on the front page of the site in the early hours of Tuesday morning courtesy of Todd Martin.
TNA are also taping tonight in Orlando, FL and we should have spoilers up on the site early Tuesday courtesy of Jon Jones.
Tomorrow sees a further TNA taping in Orlando as TNA tape enough Impact broadcasts to see them into 2009, while WWE tape ECW and Smackdown in Baltimore, MD. We’re looking for spoilers from tomorrow night’s Smackdown taping. If you’re attending and can help us out with a report, you can get in touch by clicking on my name below!
