WWE tape Smackdown as well as broadcasting Monday Night Raw tonight from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Advertised for Raw is John Cena vs. Chris Jericho in a Toronto Street Fight although the match is almost certainly for the benefit of the live crowd only as WWE have not advertised the match for tonight’s show.

Advertised for tonight’s Raw broadcast are four first round matches in the World Title tournament. The winners of tonight’s matches compete next week in a four-way match with the winner of that facing John Cena at next month’s Royal Rumble PPV.

The four matches taking place on tonight’s show are:

- Shawn Michaels vs. Kane
- CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho
- Rey Mysterio vs. JBL
- Batista vs. Randy Orton

Jim Ross noted in a blog update over the weekend that Batista would miss tonight’s show, which would make sense if WWE choose to have Batista sell the kick to the head from Orton on last week’s show.

I’m also half expecting an angle to come out of this with Shawn Michaels beating Kane, JBL losing to Rey Mysterio and Michaels being ordered by Bradshaw to give up his spot in next week’s four-way.
