Latest WWE and MMA UK ratings – Affliction draws well on Bravo

Wednesday February 4, 2009 BY Phil Lowe

In the latest UK television ratings for the week ending January 25, the Affliction: Day of Reckoning PPV which went out live in the U.S on January 24 drew an impressive 82,000 viewers going out the following evening on Bravo. That’s a better number than many UFC shows got on Bravo before they moved to Setanta Sports last year and a better number than TNA usually do on Bravo. It could even end up being a better number than the show did live in the U.S on PPV.

TNA failed to make the Top 10 ratings for Bravo this week according to BARB figures.

WWE Raw from January 19 drew 43,000 for its Thursday night replay (down 15,000 on the previous week. Further replays on Friday morning and evening drew 19,000 and 46,000 respectively. No ratings for the live broadcast were available.

Smackdown on January 23 drew 83,000 (up 10,000) while replays on Saturday morning and evening drew 49,000 and 37,000 respectively.

The January 20 edition of ECW, airing on January 22, drew 40,000.
