On Thursday night’s Ultimate Talk show here in the UK, Daily Telegraph MMA and Boxing reporter Gareth A. Davies mentioned that the UFC was looking at pairing BJ Penn against Kenny Florian at UFC 99 in Germany.

The programme, which is part of Setanta Sports’ coverage of the UFC, talked with Dan Hardy about his fight at UFC 95 and also about last weekend’s fight between Georges St. Pierre and BJ Penn.

It remains to be seen if this is rumour is true but several people I have spoken to are already trying to find out details about this.

UFC 99 is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 13 in Cologne, Germany.
