Saturday March 7, 2009 BY Dan Short

It’s been nearly six years since Pro Wrestling Guerrilla launched their debut show in City of Industry, California. Since then, they have carved a nitch into become not only the hottest ticket in Southern California wrestling, but one of the elite independent wrestling promotions in the United States. Some of the top talent in the business have even competed including CM Punk, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Bryan Danielson, Low Ki, CIMA, Shingo Takagi, Kaz Hayashi, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, and Frankie Kazarian just to name a few.

On Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla will present their 99th and 100th shows respectively in a two-night event. The shows “Ninety-Nine” and “One Hundred” will take place at the American Legion Post #308 in Reseda, California and will feature PWG World Heavyweight Champion Chris Hero, PWG World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson), Austin Aries, B-Boy, El Generico, The Dynasty (Joey Ryan and Scott Lost), Kenny Omega, Davey Richards, Roderick Strong and more. In addition, Sonjay Dutt will be making his PWG debut on both nights. Plus, each night will also feature a pair of exclusive talent. On Saturday only, The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) will make their glorious return to the place that helped expose their tag team greatness in the US. On Sunday only, “The Intrepid Traveler” Paul London and “Classic” Colt Cabana will return following their successful appearances at “Express Written Consent.”

Tickets will go on sale online starting Monday, March 9 at noon Pacific time. Front Row seats are $30 per night or $50 for both nights. General seats are $25 per night or $40 for both nights. And given that they packed the house at “Express Written Consent” to the point that they almost had to turn away fans, it is highly recommended that tickets be ordered as soon as possible. The cards for each night will be announced in the weeks to come.
