To start the evening off there was the Ric Flair signing. Flair signed for over 2 hours. From my personal experience from the autograph session Flair was very nice and smiling and asked me how I was doing and I told him that I was good and that it was a pleasure to meet him and he responded to me that it was nice to meet me as well then he went on to ask me what my name was then he personalized my dvd cover “To Scott” then autographed his name. It was a great experience. Now onto the results from the matches:

Pre Show Matches:
Aaron Scott and Grizzly Redwood def. Sigmon and Shawn Shultz: Believe it or not Redwood wins the match by actually using the finisher, a Double Ax Handle off the top ropes and pins Shawn Schultz for the win.

Alex “Sugarfoot”(or as Nigel McGuinness called him on the last PPV, SugarNuts) Payne def. Travis Sawyer w/ Tony Lagazio

Matches Taped For DVD:

Roderick Strong def. Jay Briscoe: This was a great opening match to start off the show! The crowd was very into this match and the match got more reaction from the crowd than any of the other matches on the show. Strong has to have the hardest chops in wrestling! After the match you could see busted blood vessels all over Briscoes chest! Both received a great standing ovation at the end of the match.

MsChif(Champion) w/ Jimmy Jacobs and Delirious def. Daizee Haze (SHIMMER Title): Jacobs interferes through out the match. Delirious tried to watch the match and cared about Haze’s well being through out the match and when Jacobs would see him watching he would make him hide his face and not watch the match. After the match Jacobs told Haze to not come out and get involved in Delirious’s match later or he would put a nail in her head like she had done to Delirious in Chicago.

Austin Aries def. Silas Young, Kenny Omega and Claudio Castagnoli (Four Corner Survival Match): Most of this match was like a tag team match as Castagnoli and Aries worked alot against Omega and Young and vica versa. Aries rolled Omega up for the pin and the win.

Dave Prazak then comes to the ring to introduce Ric Flair. The crowd erupted as he came to the ring. Flair told the crowd how great it was to be in the St. Louis area and talked about how greats like Harley Race, Bob Orton Jr., Dick The Bruiser and Bruiser Brody wrestled in St. Louis and St. Louis was home of the NWA and now ROH calls St. Louis home and The Nature Boy considers ROH home.

Then Nigel McGuinness comes out to interupt Flair. He tells Flair that he didn’t come out to put him down and that he was one of the greatest champions of all time but he wasn’t going to lie to him that he was one of the worse Fathers of all time and one of the worst husbands as well! Flair responded by saying to McGuinness is that all you got? Flair went on to say that he would bring his son Reid to ROH to stretch McGuinness and he told McGuinness that he would be coming out later to watch his ROH title match later in the night.

Chris Hero, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards w/ Larry Sweeney and Shane Hagadorn def. Kevin Steen, El Generico and Bobby Dempsey: As Hagadorn distracted the ref Sweeney hit Steen with a chair just as he was about to go off the top rope. Richards then puts Steen in a one leg Boston Crap and makes Steen tap out.

Kenny King and Rhett Titus def. Irish Airborne

Bryan Danielson def. Bison Smith via Countout: This was a very short match and not a good match and the crowd booed the match resulting a countout.

Tyler Black and Jerry Lynn def. Jimmy Jacobs and Delirious: Jacobs accidentally hits Delirious to cost them the match. Afterwards Jacobs blames Delirious for them losing the match and as he is about to hit Delirious with a nail Daizee Haze comes to the ring to stop Jacobs then Jacobs hits Haze in the head with the nail instead. Then as he starts to hit Delirious with the nail once again Delirious stops him and gets the nail from Jacobs and then Delirious hits Jacobs in the head with the nail and does 5 running knee shots on Jacobs as he was laying in the corner of the ring. Then Delirious and Haze begins to hug each other and celebrate and now this looks like the end of Delirious being part of Age of the Fall

Brent Albright def. Nigel McGuiness via DQ (ROH World Title Match): Flair comes to ringside to watch the match. Claudio Castagnoli comes to the ring and attacks Albright to cost him his shot at winning the title. Flair comes into the ring to save Albright and chops both McGuiness and Castagnoli and they leave the ring.

This started off to be a good show but with there being a countout in the Danielson vs. Bison Smith match and then to have a DQ in the main event really hurt this show alot. I’m not sure what they was thinking having both a countout and DQ on the same show!
