Former WWF wrestler Brian Blair has been released from jail following his arrest on child abuse charges and called the situation “a misunderstanding that could have been prevented.”

Blair was quoted as saying in the Tampa Tribune on Monday afternoon: “I have over 7,000 hours mentoring children, and the last thing that I’d ever do is hurt a kid.
