Former WWF wrestler arrested on child abuse charges
Former WWF wrestler turned politician B. Brian Blair has been arrested on two counts of child abuse following a incident involving his two sons.
The 52-year-old was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning, according to the St. Petersburg Times, after getting into an argument with his oldest son, allegedly punching the 17-year-old before putting him in a choke hold that left him having trouble breathing.
Blair’s youngest son, aged 12, was then choked by Blair as well as being punched in the head.
At time of writing, Blair, who wrestled as part of the Killer Bees tag team in the then WWF during the 1980s, is being held without bail.
Blair turned to politics after wrestling and was elected Hillsborough County Commissioner in 2004 but missed out on re-election last November.
