UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida will defend his title against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua at UFC 104 this October.

UFC President Dana White confirmed the bout during Saturday night’s ‘The Ultimate Figher 9′ finale.

UFC 104 takes place on October 24 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.
