TNA programming could make move to HD in the UK
TNA fans in the UK could soon be able to watch Impact in HD after Virgin Media announced plans to roll-out High Definition versions of their seven television channels.
The cable company’s digital television portfolio is currently up for sale, with BSkyB believed to have bid around £160million for the package, which includes Bravo, where TNA Impact, Epics and monthly PPVs can be found.
Living TV will be the first of the seven to launch in High Definition later this year, with plans already underway for Bravo to be given the HD treatment.
No timescale is yet known for when Bravo will be launched in HD, although given their position as the UK leader in HD television, should Sky purchase the portfolio, one would assume it would speed the process up.
