Update on WWE’s Gerald Brisco
Jim Ross recently posted on his web site an update on Gerald Brisco’s condition. It is much more serious than previously reported.
He was scheduled for surgery Wednesday for what was believed to be a blockage in an artery in his neck after an initial belief that he may have suffered a stroke was dismissed. Medical tests done earlier Wednesday showed he actually did suffer a stroke.
Worse, he suffered two more. Doctors believe one stroke occurred on Saturday and another occurred Sunday morning.
As of writing, it is unknown when the third happened.
That’s not all. After conducting a battery of tests, a small hole was discovered in Gerald’s heart as well as a heart valve. Surgery has been postponed to next week, most likely Thursday, so that the new medication they prescribed to him can take affect and address the clogged artery in his neck.
According to JR, Gerald was having trouble with his left side, but it has since regained strength. His voice is still a little weak and slurs slightly.
We at iFight365.com continue to wish the best of luck and a speedy recovery to Jerry.
