WWE last night released former Women’s champion Candice Michelle along with second generation wrestler, Sim Snuka.

Neither come as a surprise. Michelle has been injured more often than not over the past few years and WWE had no plans for her after she was recently given the OK to return to the ring from her latest injury layoff.

Snuka has been in danger of being released for some time and it had been expected for several months. He had not been used for some time and was out of favour even since WrestleMania where he was the “cameraman” at ringside for the Undertaker-Shawn Michaels match who was supposed to break Undertaker’s fall when he dived out of the ring. As you’ll recall, Taker narrowly avoided serious injury there and the blame was put on Snuka.
