- CM Punk and Jeff Hardy opened the show with a promo. Both said they would walk out of The Bash as World champion and that the best man would win.

- Jeff Hardy beat Chris Jericho by countout after Rey Mysterio attacked Jericho.

- Great Khali beat Dolph Ziggler via DQ after Ziggler used a chair.

- Edge beat John Morrison. Good match.

- Melina beat Alicia. Afterwards, Michelle McCool attacked Melina.

- R-Truth and Cryme Tyme beat Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas and Ricky Ortiz when Truth pinned Benjamin. Fun match, Truth was over big.

- Rey vs. Jericho for the IC Title at The Bash was announced, with the stipulation that Rey would unmask if he lost.

- CM Punk beat Rey Mysterio. Chris Jericho did commentary for the match and everybody was waiting for him to interfere, which happened.

- In a dark match, Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio beat Edge and Chris Jericho in a cage match. Fun match to end another good Smackdown taping.
