WWE stars comment on Misawa; Tributes paid at shows
More wrestlers have posted comments regarding the passing of Mitsuharu Misawa on Saturday. The majority of wrestlers have been posting on their Twitter accounts.
Kaval (aka Low Ki): “He was the first person I saw after my first championship match in NOAH and he said something that meant so much to me, ‘Good job.’ It was an honor to be apart of his company. I just can’t believe he’s gone. I don’t know what else to say. This is terrible. I feel terrible.”
Gregory Helms: “Just read about Misawa. This is very sad!”
Chris Jericho: “Misawa was a true warrior and one of my all time favorite performers. His fighting spirit and superb psychology will be remembered.”
Ring of Honor opened their show on Saturday night with a ten-bell salute to Misawa. AAA held a moment of applause for him, along with Abismo Negro and the memory of Antonio Pena, during their TripleMania event also on Saturday.
