Rockford, IL
The show started with an Undertaker promo. C.M. Punk interrupted and delivered a great promo of his own to set up their pay-per-view match.
- Finlay defeated Mike Knox in a Belfast Brawl. As usual, Finlay hit Knox with the f’n Shillelagh.
Backstage, Michelle McCool flirted with Dolph Ziggler while Layla was hiding and videotaping the two of them.
- Great Khali fought D.H. Smith to a no-contest. Kane interfered for the no-contest finish. Khali hit Kane with the Khai Bomb.
- Chris Jericho and Big Show defeated Cryme Tyme. They used the same finish they used at the SummerSlam pay-per-view. Very good match, though.
Teddy Long and Vince McMahon teased a big surprise for next week.
- Intercontinental Champion John Morrison defeated Charlie Haas. Morrison also thanked Rey Mysterio for their match last week. Cheesy.
Dolph Ziggler came out for a promo regarding his pay-per-view match with Morrison. There was a “Mr. Ziggles” chant from the crowd. He might actually be over after that.
Matt Hardy was out next for a promo.
Four hot women who looked like strippers were taken backstage.
- Layla defeated Melina. Michelle McCool interfered and struck Melina with a crutch to set up the finish.
R-Truth delivered a promo. Drew McIntrye attacked him and whipped his ass again.
- C.M. Punk defeated Matt Hardy in a submission match. Punk won clean with the Anaconda Vice. Undertaker appeared on the stage with the World Hvt. Championship belt.
