The 10th season of “The Ultimate Fighter” concludes on Saturday night, and it’s a stacked card with some familiar faces. No three fights are peaking more interest than the tournament finale, Kimbo’s bout and the main event. You know what these guys are made of, but the most difficult fights to gauge are broken down by yours truly. For the rest of the action, head to our sportsbook right now!

Roy Nelson vs. Brendan Schaub

It’s an improbable matchup that a lot of UFC betting analysts didn’t see coming. Brendan Schaub, a former fullback in the Arena Football League and for the practice roster of the Buffalo Bills, has torn through Jon Madsen, Demico Rogers and his most notable victory was beating the crap out of a favorite in Marcus Jones.

He’s fighting Roy Nelson, who practically looks like he’s about to have a freaking baby, but that doesn’t derail anything he’s accomplished. His biggest win came when he literally sat on top of Kimbo Slice in one of the most boring fights ever. Yet, our oddsmakers have him as the favorite in this matchup against the supremely athletic Schaub.

The problem with Nelson is that he’s slow and he’s predictable. Schaub stands at 6-foot-4 and has insanely long arms and can keep his distance and refrain from going to the mat against the much heavier Nelson. While Big Country has shown he’s got a solid standing attack, complimented by heavy swinging rights and lefts, I don’t think he can keep up with the versatile Schaub who is simply just a much better athlete overall.

Considered a seasoned veteran, Nelson has already shown what he’s got. He can deliver haymakers at any given moment and if he gets on the ground, he’s going to throw his gargantuan weight around. But Schaub hasn’t revealed everything that he’s made of and I think he explodes at the finale in to the potential fighter we all thought he could eventually be.

Furious Free Pick: Schaub +175 def. Nelson -220
