Frank Mir Wants To Kill Brock Lesnar If They Meet For A Third Time

Sunday February 21, 2010 BY ifight365

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir’s obsession with current champ Brock Lesnar is well-known to any MMA fan that has seen their UFC 81 fight, the build-up to their UFC 100 fight, the aftermath of their UFC 100 bout and pretty much any time that Mir has a microphone in front of his face. In a recent interview with WXDX Radio though, Mir may have taken things a little too far;

“I want to fight Brock Lesnar. I hate who he is as a person. I want to break his neck in the ring. I want him to be the first person that dies to Octagon-related injuries.”

Mir is set to face Shane Carwin at UFC 111 in March for the interim UFC Heavyweight Championship and the winner of that bout is expected to face a returning Lesnar sometime this summer. Mir’s desire to take Lesnar out in a potential rubber match is well-known, but hoping for a potential death in the Octagon seems to be fairly selfish considering the damage such an event could cause to the sport.

Whether Mir is looking past Carwin to get to Lesnar and could end up facing a rude awakening could be something to look for come March at the Prudential Center.
