James Toney Calls UFC President Dana White “A Ho”
Current NABO Heavyweight Champion James Toney has made some headlines in the past few months with his somewhat laughable attempts at joining the roster of the UFC that have mainly consisted of bluster and bravado from the former boxing champion and little attention paid to his attempts from the people who make the decisions in the UFC.
That could change though if outspoken UFC President Dana White gets wind of Toney’s latest comments, made to FightHype earlier this week;
“Dana White is a straight up ho! He makes me a 5-fight offer for chump change and said I can’t box anymore if I accept it. He must have lost his damn mind. I’m the best of both worlds. Anyone in either sport that wants to come see me, we can do this.”
Perhaps the most famous instance of a former boxing champion making his way into the sport of MMA would be Ray Mercer, who lost to Kimbo Slice, but was able to defeat former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia by knockout in just nine seconds in June. If Toney has any edge on Mercer when it comes to a potential career in MMA, it’s age as Toney is only 41, compared to the 48-year old Mercer.
