Friday March 19, 2010 BY ifight365

Strikeforce heavyweight Bobby Lashley (5-0) will be added to the “Strikeforce: Nashville” in April according to organization officials. No opponent has been named but the former WWE and TNA “professional wrestler” should be expected to take place on the preliminary card for the event, but CEO Scott Coker recently spoke about the possibility of adding a fourth bout to the CBS broadcast. Sources close to the organization said that Lashley would most likely be that fourth bout.

“Strikeforce: Nashville” takes place at Bridgestone Arena (formerly known as the Sommet Center) in Nashville, Tenn., airs live at 9 p.m. ET (tape delayed on the West Coast).

Lashley recently competed on Jan. 30th of this year at the “Strikeforce: Miami” event, easily handling “TUF” 10 alumn Wes Sims in their fight, earning a TKO (Strikes) victory in the first round. In 2009 Lashley defeated Bob Sapp, Mike Cook, and Jason Guida at smaller promotions across North America.
