Michael Bisping And Dan Miller In Talks For UFC 114 Bout
It’s been less than two weeks since Michael Bisping dropped a close decision loss to Wanderlei Silva at UFC 110 in Sydney, Australia and while his ego may have taken a beating with the defeat, he appears to be eager to jump back into the fray as MMA Mania is reporting that serious talks are underway for Bisping to face former IFL star Dan Miller as part of the upcoming UFC 114 event on May 29th in Las Vegas, NV.
Bisping is 1-2 in his last three fights, with a victory over Denis Kang at UFC 105 and a devastating KO loss to Dan Henderson at UFC 100 joining his recent loss to Silva in moving “The Count” down the 185-pound ladder and out of title contention for the time being.
Miller started out with an impressive three-fight winning streak in the Octagon, but has dropped his last two fights, to Chael Sonnen at UFC 98 and to Demian Maia last month at UFC 109 in a bout that surprisingly turned into a kickboxing match between the wrestler in Miller and the jiu-jitsu specialist Maia.
UFC 114 will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will finally see the long-awaited grudge match between former UFC Light Heavyweight Champions and Ultimate Fighter 10 coaches Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and “Sugar” Rashad Evans as they meet to settle their feud which began with an intense staredown and verbal smackfest inside the Octagon following a Jackson win back at UFC 96.
