The biggest fight in the career of internet phenomenon Kimbo Slice is almost here - and is about to take place on Saturday night at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, FL, to be televised on CBS.
There is no title on the line, but there may be plenty at stake, as the fight could possibly be the most watched ever.

Kimbo Slice vs. UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock has been confirmed for EliteXC’s next CBS-EliteXC Saturday Night Fights event on October 4.

EliteXC vice president Jared Shaw confirmed the news late on Monday, telling MMAWeekly.com: “We were clearing the runway for Oct. 4 and we’re landing with some heavy artillery. Kimbo emerged as king of backyard brawls and is a YouTube sensation, now he wants to lay claim to the title of ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Man.’”

Antonio Silva, recently crowned EliteXC’s first-ever heavyweight champion, has been suspended for one year and fined $2,500 for his alleged use of the anabolic steroid Boldenone.

The California State Athletic Commission confirmed the news on Thursday afternoon.

Silva will have the opportunity to file an appeal with the commission.

Silva (11-1) scored a second-round TKO victory over Justin Eilers at EliteXC’s July 26 “Unfinished Business” event in Stockton, CA, but he failed a drug test administered by the CSAC at the event.

Antonio Silva (10-1) and Justin Eilers (19-6-1) have verbally agreed to meet at EliteXC’s July 26 event, which airs on both Showtime and CBS.
