HOLLYWOOD, FLA. - World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC) and The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino today announced that WEC: FABER vs. BROWN fight at the Hard Rock Live scheduled for Wednesday, September 10 has been POSTPONED due to the threat of Hurricane Ike to South Florida.

World Extreme Cagefighting featherweight Alexandre “Pequeno” Nogueira tested positive for suspected use of the anabolic agent Boldenone following his technical knockout loss to Jose Aldo at WEC 34 on June 1, according to a report released Monday by the California State Athletic Commission.
The CSAC levied a one-year suspension and $2,500 fine against Nogueira (13-5-2) as a result of his infraction. No word yet on whether or not the 30-year-old Brazilian plans to appeal. Nogueira’s “A” sample was tested at Quest Diagnostics, and his “B” sample was tested at the Laboratoire …
